Visual Novels

Well, I'll be working on a visual novel with someone soon! The concept is something that I had in a dream...

 

A girl chases a dog and runs into a boy. She is trying to find the dogs family. The boy decides to help her. Along the way they fall in love.

That's about all I'll tell you guys until it comes out! It's really much more interesting than it looks.

A visual novel (ビジュアルノベル, bijuaru noberu^?) is an interactive fiction game,^[1] featuring mostly static anime-style graphics, or occasionally live-action stills or video footage.^[2] As the name might suggest, they resemble mixed-media novels or tableau vivant stage plays.

In Japanese terminology, a distinction is often made between visual novels proper (abbreviated NVL), which consist predominantly of narration and have very few interactive elements, and adventure games (abbreviated AVG or ADV), which may incorporate problem-solving and other types of gameplay. This distinction is normally lost outside Japan, where both NVLs and ADVs are commonly referred to as "visual novels" by international fans. Visual novels and ADVs are especially prevalent in Japan, where they made up nearly 70% of the PC game titles released in 2006.^[3]

Visual novels are rarely produced for video game consoles, but the more popular games are sometimes ported to systems such as the Dreamcast, PlayStation, or Xbox 360. The more famous visual novels are also often adapted into the light novel, manga or anime formats. The market for visual novels outside of East Asia is small, though a number of anime based on visual novels are popular among anime fans in the Western world.

Shell: Intro

I finished writing this after much thought, do you guys like it? This
is just a small intro though. (By the way, the main character is a
guy!)

There was a girl crying in the corner of the elevator as I was
going up to my hotel room. She was actually kinda cute. I really
wanted to comfort her, but I'm I afraid that that I'm too terribly
shy.
I try to think of something cool to say, but all I can manage is,
"Uh, hey." She looks up from her sobbing and I'm stunned. She looks
absolutely adorable.
"H-hello" She stammers in a soft voice. By this time, the elevator
is at my floor and my face is hopelessly flushed.
"Sorry," I say weakly. I try to rush out of the elevator, but I
feel a pair of arms hug me from behind.
"Please, stay with me for a bit"

These files I know of are updated. I'm not really pleased with the
results though. I will live up to!

Hey friends. How is everyone today? I got some news in about that robot running amok! You wanna know what it is? Well, a friend of mine built a robot and some bad people stole it from him. I hope we can get it under control soon!

Finals Week!

Hey! I'm back from break!

I was just out in Hawaii from our winter break! You might ask, "Hey? Why not stay for the snow?" Well, it's Washington, we don't get snow! My friends and I decided to go to Hawaii, and all I had was a phone. SO, I couldn't post on here at all. Well, I'll put up my first comic soon and the first chapter of my story I decided to write! Look forward to it!
